Nelson and Boaz didn't meet at a networking event, they met on the athletics track. That's where they first learned they work well together: same discipline, same drive, each in their own way. Years later, that combination became the foundation for Oddbird.

Nelson built his knowledge in the field, with years of hands-on agency experience and a sharp sense of what actually works. Boaz took the academic route and earned a master's degree in marketing, bringing a strong grounding in strategy and reasoning. When it turned out they shared the same entrepreneurial drive and the same dream of running their own agency, the choice was easy: join forces.
