Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data
Oddbird, based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number: 93231601), is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. Questions? Email info@oddbird.nl.
2. What data we process
Through the contact form on this website, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, email address and the content of your message. This website does not place tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not collect personal data beyond what you share with us through the form.
To see how the website is used, we keep anonymous visitor statistics with Vercel Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, which website you came from, and your country and type of device. This works without cookies and without identifying you as a person. To avoid counting a visit twice, an encrypted code is created that expires after 24 hours; your IP address is not stored.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use this data solely to respond to your request and, if an engagement follows, to carry it out. The legal basis for this is the performance of (preparations for) an agreement, or our legitimate interest in responding to questions you raise with us.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep contact form data no longer than necessary for the purpose of processing, and in any case no longer than 2 years after the last contact, unless a longer retention period is legally required. Data forming part of an invoice is kept in line with the Dutch statutory 7-year retention obligation for tax records.
5. Who has access to your data
We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. To operate this website, we use the following processors:
- FormSubmit: processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our email address.
- Vercel Inc.: the hosting provider for this website, and the provider of the anonymous visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics).
6. Cookies
This website does not use cookies to track you, not even for the visitor statistics in section 2: those work without cookies. Should this change in the future, we will update this privacy policy and inform you where required.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use, including a secure connection (HTTPS) across the entire website.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, and to restrict processing, object, and request data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@oddbird.nl. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page.
